Our History and Back Story
PC Systems Around You, LLC was founded in April of 2009 as a family owned and operated business after the owner Louis missed working on computers after leaving a big box store. He has worked on computers since 1995 cleaning them up and tuning them up. He setup and configured his first Local Area Network (LAN) in 1998 when dial up was prominent and before Cable Internet was available.
From April of 2009 to June of 2014 Louis worked a fulltime job and ran PC Systems Around You, LLC. Between the two positions he worked 7 days a week and at least 80 hours to build this business. In June of 2014 his position was eliminated at his full-time job. Louis decided to run PC Systems Around You, LLC full time and not seek further employment.
In 2015 we partnered with a local Website Designer to offer our Website Development packages. If I don’t know the answer to a question, and he doesn’t know, we have multiple contacts that can give us the answer we need.
To deliver an impeccable experience to our customers we need to keep up with the latest and greatest in just about everything. The IT world is an ever-changing industry so we must keep up by reading articles online, make and keep contacts with people who have more experience with one side of the industry we are not.
What Sets Us Apart from Our Competitors
There are several things we do differently than our competitors.
We offer a discount to all veterans, active duty military individuals, Police, EMT and Fire Department individuals. If you work as a police officer, EMT, or fire fighter and you live in Fond du Lac or Dodge county, you can count on us discounting your services. We do this as a thank you for your help in our communities.
Our typical turn time for a computer having issues is 24-48 hours. We want you to have your computer in working condition. Typically Louis will work until 12am or 1am to get the computers repaired.
The majority of our services have a flat fee instead of an hourly rate. This ensures that our staff get the repairs done as quickly as possible and the job is done correctly.
We don’t mind a call, text, or email to answer a question. We would rather answer a question than have a customer frustrated with their computer. So feel free to call, text, or email us when you have questions regarding your computer. There is no such thing is a stupid question. You’re not the only one who has that question.
We will not talk down to a customer or laugh at a customer because they don’t understand what is going on with their device. You have your specialty, we have ours.
We will pick up and drop off a computer if our customer is unable to drop it off at our location on the corner of Front and Center St, Beaver Dam. This applies to both residential and small business accounts. If it’s within 40 miles if our location and you’re unable to bring it to us, we’ll pick it up and drop it off.
We work after hours to support you. We do this via remote support. If an issue arises, but you can’t be taken down for the day we will remote into your computer to repair it while your business is closed.
